Yr 7 Maths question - can you help??

Can anyone help me with this maths problem - I remember that you do the part within the brackets first but what happens next?? Do I square 3 and then multiply by 3?

3(7-4)squared ..I cant find the "small 2" symbol on the keyboard

Yes - square the amount within the brackets (ie 3 as you say) and then mutiply by the 3 outside the brackets.
