Pooling resources/being paid to look after home ed child

Has anyone considered pooling resources (time/money/talents/children) in order to home educate?

Would anyone consider clubbing together to pay for a tutor to educate 2-4 children at home?

Would anyone consider being paid to look after my nearly 9 year old wannabe home ed girl?

Please reply on this thread or email me on [email protected] if you might be interested in any of the above.

Hi, I think pooling resources in terms of money/time/talents and educational resources is a brilliant idea.

I have so many maths resources and I run maths clubs. I would be happy to lend games and books to people who were local. I am in sussex and from your email I am thinking you must be in london. Have just started HEd with DS1 and DS2 is due to leave school when we break for the holidays.

It would make a great deal of sense as tutors are exp, children often learn well in small groups and it can help with motivation. Books and resources are exp, even 2nd hand and as parents have to find all costs for Home Ed I'm sure your idea would make a lot of sense.
