Websites / cd roms for French?

I'm looking for sites for a 4 year old and a 6 year old with games, etc, in French.

Something like Reading Eggs would be great.

I don't want stuff that teaches it quite so much, more stuff based a bit on immersion, if that makes sense.

Hi!

Was going to recommend this but have just noticed it's new subscription charges are £200. That is for a school site license - might be worth contacting to see what they could do for you.

this is a lovely free one for body parts

and here are lots of exercises for basic vocab and grammar as and when/if you get onto it. Not very flashy or exciting but in my previous life my classes of 30 likes it for an hour. Might be a bit "teachy" BUT should be able to work through it at own pace.

Will look at Reading Eggs (don't know what it is ) and see if I can think of anything similar

thanks for all the recommendations, they look great, will have a trawl. The expensive site does look good, though not so much spoken stuff?

I don't have powerpoint thanks to long saga with windows but thanks so much for the offer.

Our two (5 and 6 ) like the CD rom Jump Ahead French and the pack called French is Fun with Serge the Monkey.
Both are light and fun - they won't bust the bank- you can get them from Amazon

up to ten is quite good. You can change the language so all the activities are in French.

Linguascope (the expensive one) was good as a teacher, but I'm not sure that it would be all that good for the whole immersion thing. I definitely wouldn't pay £200 for it! I found this French site aimed at teachers, but it has some good resources for songs and you can make puppets and things from them. You do need to trawl through it a bit though.

Momes Net is aimed at French children, but there may be things your children would enjoy doing on there too.
