If so, I'd strongly suggest you join the Home Education Special Needs email support list There you will find many home educating parents with children who have dyslexia.
They will discuss the pros and cons of this sort of tuition with you.

Others will find differently but for me, we paid out shed loads of money on this, for our dyslexic children, when they were in school. Wish I had known then what I know now, I would have home educated them from the start and not paid for this sort of tuition, I'd have been an autonomous home educator from the start and allowed the children to follow their own learning style. Getting to reading and spelling at the time that was right for them, instead of to someone else's timetable was much more an effective way of overcoming these difficulties for our children.
