Any Christian home-edders in South-East London?

I'd really like to find a couple of good friends for my two DDs aged 6 (shy) and 4 (not shy at all). We live in Peckham, but are also around New Cross, Lewisham, Catford, Camberwell - happy to go further afield if necessary. I've already asked around in general posts, but thought, as we are Christian, it might be worth posting specifically to others 'that way inclined' as well. Anyway, wd be happy to hear from ANYONE near us with similar-aged children, interested in meeting up, maybe in a park...? Or if anyone can point me in the direction of likely candidates, I'd be grateful.

Sorry, can't help with details of Christian home edders-but I came across the link for a Discussion Group for Christian Home Educators and thought of your question here.

Thanks, guys. runnerbean mentioned a HE family in SE London with 12 children whom I'm thinking(she extrapolates wildly) may be what I'm after - but I don't think they're on MN

Thank you for your tip about the group, julienoshoes; the link wouldn't work for me but I'll google the name. Here's hoping!

No the home ed family with 12 children are not on mumsnet, I don't think she has time -but you might find her posting on the one of the main HE lists
If you have no luck finding the group-get back to me and I'll try and find it.

hi
there's a christian HE group in Tooting. Would you want to go that far? I know they were full in the Summer, but might have spaces now. If you're interested I will try to dig out contact email details.

Psychomumma · 14/01/2009 09:37

Thanks, lilyfire, but think Tooting is probably a bit too far for me at the moment.

Hi Psychomumma,

If you go here

and join Ann's Yahoo group it may be helpful.

I know Ann is a Christian and several other members.

I'm not Christian (trying to work out WHAT I am at moment, on a spiritual journey )

But I am very friendly and I meet up with a large HE group in Lee on Thursdays, there's LOADS of little ones there.
If you want anymore info contact me on

[email protected]

Thank you runnerbean, will definitely join that Yahoo group. I'm going to try to get to Brandram Road tomorrow myself, so hopefully I'll see you there
