Books for Home Educating - where to buy?

Hi everyone,

As I need to buy several books for home educating children of various ages, I am hoping that someone might be able to guide me to the best retail outlets/internet sites to buy from.

Obviously, as I need loads and loads, I am hoping to find the most affordable as money is too tight to mention, at the moment!

Library is too far away from us so that is out of the question.

I am not currently living in the UK so hopefully there will be someone along shortly with even better answers but I get a lot of new books from the ww.Bookdepsitory.co.uk and used ones from the amazon marketplace.

Carboot sales and secondhand bookshops are also great. Doesn't Education Otherwise also sell things?

There is plenty on the internet to download for free as well. I will provide links if you like.

I wish that there was a one-stop-shop that is inexpensive and if it exists, I would love to find it...

I really like The Book People and Red House, but it is easy to spend too much - although there are a lot of good deals. Really like the Wonderwise books.

CGP books are very good and reasonably priced. If you register with them as a school you will get them even cheaper.

DD2 has dental op. tomorrow so my brain is elsewhere but I promise that I will be back with some favourite sites early next week.
