hi all

i am thinking about doing a lapbook with my dd1 who is 5, on either horses, a-z (phonics) to supplement what we are doing or something different, does anyone know any good websites to buy one or get for free so she can make it, or any tips etc would be great
thanks

I love this site: liveandlearnpress.com/ They have a few freebies (not on horses) and lots to buy.

I have in the past just googled lapbook+topic name. Sometimes good stuff comes up and sometimes not.

What is a lapbook? I am intrigued and ignorant!!!

ilanak thanks for that i checked it out and started one today which is good fun and she enjoys it! will let you know.

yurtgirl - your not ignorant at all i had no idea what it was but it is basically a folder of little books which your child makes on a particular topic like horses, cinderella, a-z etc and then put them into a large folder. if you google lapbook it shows actual ones i have found! hope i have it wright cause its all new to me as well!

I love lapbooks. Not HEdding at the moment but dyslexic ds is doing one for his mountains project at school. Mt Hekla and fissure volcanoes. Will attempt to post when he's finished.
