Hi
We have decided to homeschool our 13 year old who is in year 9 (KS3). Does anyone know of any good tutors for maths and the sciences as well as food-tech who are willing to tutor in person in the Kingston Area?

The best place to ask would be on a local home ed group. To find one, go onto Facebook and type into the search bar "home education" followed by the name of your area.

Were you thinking of GCSE Food Tech, and are you aware that it's a difficult qualification for home ed kids to access? See the HE Exams wiki https://he-exams.fandom.com/wiki/ which is quite a good site for an intro to doing exams while being home educated, contrary to appearances - it's hosted on a clunky platform. There are lots of national Facebook groups where you can get help from other home ed parents with navigating exams, which are complicated to arrange.
