Not my area of expertise, but maybe someone can point you in the right direction. What age child is it for? Are you looking for videos, books or...?

Hi. I am trying to navigate this site. So may not be right place to reply. My grand-daught is year 10 home educated for the last year. She is looking for books and apps to work from or websites for Psychology. Hopefully for free. Have been looking but all want paying. Quite alot of money. Thank you for respinding.

£2 Tuition Hub also has psychology classes - not free but pretty cheap at £2 per lesson.

Thanks very much. I will look into all of it.

For year 10 level work your best best is probably to buy a used gcse textbook on eBay. The AQA ones are well recommended (with photos of people on the front). They usually cost about £20 secondhand - not free, but not bad given how long you can be using them for if you go through each spread.

If she is hoping to sit an exam, make sure that when preparing for that you have the correct book for that specific course - if you Google ‘which exam board to use for psychology’ it lists the differences between what is tested (Edexcel and AQA are the most common boards but you also have to find an exam centre that offers the one you want in order to sit it).

GCSE courses are often the dullest way to study something unless you really want to sit a GCSE in it.

Thank you all for your advice. I have ordered the AQA Psychology book. It looks like its going to be just the right thing.
