Buying a home in Cawley UB8 3SX Uxbridge

Hi All,

I am interested in a house in Uxbridge, UB8 3SX, and I am a first-time buyer. Please share any facts or suggestions you may have concerning this area with me before making any decisions. I have time to reconsider my choice.

Did you mean to basically give everyone your address?

Not a great area, but under £5K for a house in 2024? Bargain!

Was it formerly social housing ? tho looking at the amount of porches / extensions I guess 99% now purchased if not 100%.
Usually social housing in these days had decent size rooms and were well built, unlike a lot of new builds these days.

Lots of green spaces around, including the canal, and it's fairly near the hospital if you work there.

Not an area that ever did it for me, I had a friend that lived in Cowley but that was 30 years ago :)
