Classic HE moment

I turned round to ask my he son 10 when he last wrote anything down, to find that he and ds 12 are typing messages to each other and discussing spellings....

Just relax, I need to tell myself. That's the music on at the moment here.

Thanks milou2. That is such a great reminder.

I have had similar conversations with DS1 recently.

My dd1 (9) is writing a story on the computer. 100% her own idea.

As it happens I have the laptop because ds1 is hand writing a letter as part of a history assignment. It is dated 1901 and he pointed out himself that it must be hand written in order to be 'authentic'.

I was just wondering: When is the last time that I actually 'wrote' anything more than a grocery list (now usually scribbled by DS2) or a lesson plan or a chore chart?

I tend to use the computer for most things too.
