seeking OCR Computer Science GCSE private Tutor/Course

Hello - I'm looking for a tutor or online course for OCR Computer Science GCSE. My son is currently in Yr10 and will be Home Educated next year, so I need someone to help him through his final year of this course. Surrey based, but online learning fine.
Any recommendations gladly received. Thank you!

Not what you asked, but I have an idea it is difficult to sit this one as a private candidate and he might need to switch to IGCSE instead.

I'm not an expert, but I do know that it's important to check that sort of thing out quite carefully before looking for tutors or online courses. You don't want to invest a lot of time and money studying for an exam he cannot sit, or worse yet discovering at the eleventh hour that Plan A won't work and you have to scramble late on to change syllabus and find an exam centre!

Have a good look around that site to understand the issues facing home educated kids sitting (I)GCSE exams. There will be links to forums where you can ask questions.

Hi, I can't recommend myself, but I'm happy to help with tutoring. I taught Computer Science at GCSE and A-Level for 15 years until I left my last school this Christmas just gone to open a hotel in the Highlands. I can only do remote tutoring, but if you would like, I'm happy to have a discussion about how we could work some tutoring. The other poster is right that it is much easier to find a centre for iGCSE than OCR.
