I cannot believe it's been a year since we de-reg'ed. That's NUTS.
We have swayed between structured and autonmous and gradually settled into a routine of a bit or work in the mornings followed by play in the afternoons.
We have made great progress in reading and have realised she's rather good at Maths & Science. (as well as obv. all the drama that seems to surround her)
We've been visited by quite lovely LEA people who were "incredibly impressed" by our efforts.
We have tried to get ds to go to Nursery for 2 mornings a week, but 3 screamy mornings later abandoned it altogether.
But most of all we've had a riot!

Woohoo!
Congratulations.
I'm glad it has gone / is going so well.

Hi Sorkycake,

We are 18 months in now and I still feel like a 'newbie'.
I can't believe how much we've managed to cram in and i have made soooo many new friends!
Our LA lady was also very impressed and told me to 'pat myself on the back'

There has been a few bad days but i can count them on one hand, we are still on our HE 'High'.

Aw, that's nice to hear, thanks Runnerbean. I still feel a bit newbie like sometimes. We have been on a rollercoaster emotionally simply adjusting to the new situation and all that it brings, but we still feel like it's the right decision for all of us.
