Online computing courses

Hi,
Does anyone here know of any online computing courses please?
Preferably all assessed online rather than having to go to an assessment centre.

There is an ICT level 2 BTEC certificate that you can do through KanduIT. All work and assessments are online. I think there is a free course which you can try nefore committing to the BTEC to see if you like the style. There is something called the european driving licence too which teaches how to use programs like word and spreadsheets. I think it is possible to do online but Im not sure who does it. if you don't want or need GCSE / A level you could look at MOOC providers : openlearn; futurelearn; edx; coursera; udemy.

I did like the look of the European driving licence but wasn't sure who to do it through for online assessment.

I couldn't see any prices on their website, but may try the free course to see how we get on.

@TheSweetestHalleluja I think we paid about £160 to do the course over a year but we got a discount for it through www.awediscounts.com/. Maybe you could see if they are still organising a discount

About the ICT BTEC 2 with Kandu IT. My DS is doing it currently and it is brilliant for him, I can’t speak highly enough. It’s not about just the ICT skills. The confidence building and presentation skills they get to practice independently for a real word purpose is priceless. All assessed online - you just Film yourself for the practicals.
