Textiles and home schooling

Does anyone who is home schooling there child in year 10 or 11 know if they can do textiles as a home schooled gcse please?

I don't believe so. I think there is coursework that would rule it out.
An alternative might be to do an arts award. They are respected qualifications and can help build a portfolio. It wouldn't count as a GCSE If you needed it to for college entry but might be useful. This might help he-exams.wikia.org/wiki/Art
