Worksheets/info on mummies ,especially Sacred Animals at Saqqara,Egypt.WHERE?

DS1 has a really good Egyptology book somewhere. I'll have a scour round for it, and could scan and copy some bits if any use.

Hi SM,
Have had a look at the book, and it hasn't got anything specifically Saqqara, I'm afraid.
Off to the library tomorrow, so will have a rummage there, just in case.

Saqqara is where the stepped pyramid is isn't it?
From memory when we were there, what there is there is so very old I don'tremember any mention of mummies being found there. The pyramids have long been broken into and disturbed .
Although as I said this is from memory so I am happy to be corrected by someone more knowledgeable
