Hi - first MN post ever, so please be gentle if this has been asked a million times....

Best CD for times tables please? Been on Amazon and Ebay and am drowning in options. Would really like a recommendations from some one who has used one and is still sane! I want it for the car, and hope to get one that doesn't drive me crazy! TIA

I'd actually recommend Squeebles (an app). Used it for DS2(12) and he can whip through one of those timed times tables tests where you have over 100 multiplication questions and then over 100 division ones at school in a flash with only one or two mistakes. They also do a spelling version which we used with equal success. DD and DS1 had CDs but they are nowhere near as quick as DS2! The beauty of it is it took five minutes a day or less with no annoying ear worm music! It was £4.99ish (def less than a fiver) about three years ago and money well spent. HTH.

Not used a CD with any success with the DC but there's plenty of free stuff on YouTube such as Mr DeMaio (who is very good on many subjects).

We also use Squeebles for spellings. Times Table Rockstars is good - DD loves it, but DS can't get on with it. He prefers Hit The Button and IXL.
