Would like to know which books you are using, & whether you are using any online provider's?

My son is doing the CIE 0500 English language, sitting that in a few weeks, we haven’t used an online provider, just the book.

There's a very busy group on Yahoo for discussion of all aspects of exams for home educated kids: groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/HE-Exams-GCSE-A_AS_Levels-OU-Others/info. That would be another good place to ask.

You can do IGCSEs via CIE or Edexcel boards, and for a few subjects you have the option of regular GCSEs too. It doesn't matter which boards you use - the qualifications are all worth the same - but do check you have an exam centre that will do CIE (Cambridge) before buying resources for their syllabuses as it's harder to get an exam centre for those.
