Hi. I am thinking of home schooling my daughter, but I really need to be able to chat to other people who home school, preferably in the Bishops Stortford area.
I am considering home schooling my child, not because she is bitterly unhappy, but because I feel that she is becoming institutionalised and don't want her to lose her curiosity and open-mindedness. I am frustrated by the primary national curriculum. I am a teacher myself, and have taught in various systems across the world. I am not convinced that our rigid British system is the way to go.
BUT I need to check that there is sufficient opportunity for networking out there!
