We've got the maths apps etc for DS sorted now, thanks to everyone who recommended on here 
but now I need to pick your brains for the best spelling games and apps.
We have Junior Scrabble which DS, who is dyslexic, struggles with. He's past the basic cat/dog preschool stuff but is definitely not at his spelling age (8). Free apps would be best so we don't waste money on stuff he can't get on with.
Or any good board games, even, although they do tend to lead to arguments with DD, who is a good speller and competitive game player
