My daughter has recently left college (mid course) but should really have stayed until next summer. We came to a mutual decision that it would be better for her to study for her Maths and English GCSEs at home. I've been looking into online course and entering her for the exams as a private candidate. So far everything seems really expensive, £280 per online course plus £395 to sit the exams.
I just want to know is this the average price? Is there a cheaper way of doing it?

My local exam centre is about £130 per exam subject, is the £395 for each exam?
You can buy the student book, download the spec, past papers and teach yourself..the cheapest option.
