Hello!

I have two DS in years 3 & 6! they are middle achievers with no SEN, but they do struggle a bit in school.

I'm not planning on home educating at this point (although I wish I could!) but am posting on here as I think you guys will be best placed to help me!

Although I'm generally happy with the school, I am noticing some gaps in their knowledge. Mainly with the basics- spellings and times tables.

So I would really like to take the chance over the summer to do some work with them to help close these gaps.

What I'm looking for is recommendations for websites/ downloadable worksheets. Places where I can find lists of high frequency words etc... to get me started and help me to formulate a plan of action!

Ideally I can then continue this when they return to school to help support their education!

Any advice appreciated Smile

A times tables CD sorted my younger 2 out. Irritating backing track and oh so perky presenters, '1 times 2 is 2!' We played it in the car until we were heartily sick of the blasted thing but it worked.
