I know at this stage it's all about learning through play. But I have just chanced upon the Early Learning Goals (inside a topic bag) and wandered how many of you actually tailored your child's learning around this.

I was just planning to go with the flow. My two oldest dd's will be 5 in June and 4 in August.

What have you done for this age range?

Thanx

Sorry, but what are Early Learning Goals?

My eldest dd went to school until she was 7, but I taught her to read and write befpre she started nursey.
With my youngest now, 3.5, I am a lot more relaxed, as not going to school I don't have to worry about her achieving 'targets'.
However, she knows all her numbers, can count to 100.
Can write some words and is starting to read, and I haven't really done any 'formal' work with her, she just seems to have taught herself.
