Home Ed for only one of my children, not the other 2. Is this possible?

DS1 is a completely differnt character to my younger 2. I'm considering home educating him, but know the other two would do best in school. Doses any one else do this, and does it casuse problems/ jelousy from the children who go to school?

I home-ed 4 of my children and have 2 children at secondary school and 1 at primary. The 3 at school are happy there and the four at home are happy learning at home. We occassionally get some complaints off the dd at primary when we've been on a trip out somewhere but then we have to balance that against the things she enjoys at school which the others don't do. All in all they are all learning in a way that suits them.

We're moving to Australia shortly, and I intend to home ed my 8 year old there as I am convinced that it will be best for him. His older brother (13) will go straight into school. I'm not anticipating a problem tbh, but partly because they wouldn't be at the same school anyway. The fun will start when I have to make a decision about DD (4) who would start in the Australian school system next January. She will obviously be coming along to any organised stuff we attend (I've already identifying a fairly active group of home edders where we will be living) and depending on how it goes I'll make a decision when I have to based on what I think will be best for her. Different systems suit different children and I think we often don't look at children individually when we make choices. Home edding the child you think would benefit from it and leaving the others in a system that works for them would seem to be the intelligent choice for you to make
