Hi

Could anyone recommend some good Tudor resources - particularly films (suitable for 12 year old) and documentaries.

We're also hoping to visit some Tudor National Trust properties.

Thanks

Wolf Hall?

I'd recommend the National Trust properties Montacute (wonderful, beautiful example of Tudor house) and Barrington Court, both in Somerset, just a few miles apart from each other. They were both used in the filming of Wolf Hall as well.

The latest BBC History magazine has a free extra 100 page magazine with it called 'The Story of the Tudors'. It is very readable.

There's an excellent Tudor workshop at Newcastle castle, if that's not too far north Smile

Sadly yes, bit far for us, but thanks for the thought Smile
