Friends of ours use Interhigh and are very pleased with it. Might be worth a look.

Hi
My DS wants to IGCSEs with Wolsey Hall. Can you do a trial lesson?
How many hours a day do you have to study for one subject for IGCSEs?

Thanks

Yobee, others' responses may be more helpful as I haven't used Wolsey Hall yet, but I sent them a list of questions yesterday - including whether they have sample lessons to view - and they quickly sent an incredibly helpful reply and a sample lesson from the course I was looking at. It would probably be worth messaging them through the site to ask. Hope you get sorted! :-)

I dont recommend cloudlearn unless your child is extremely self disciplined. You may as well just buy the books yourself and contact the exam centre. I wasted a few hundred on it, and my son couldnt get to grips. My friend had the same experience with her daughter. Not structured enough so they just didnt do it.

My dd and ds 1 are doing myonlineschooling.co.uk/ and really enjoying it, but its fairly new, so the classes are tiny, which is a good thing for us as more of teachers attention, but might put others off if they want to use it to socialise too.

Interhigh is supposed to be good too, as is Briteschool

Wolsley hall doesnt have online lessons. I believe they send you books and they do have videos and assignments are set, but they are not online interactive classes.
It sounds like a good system for people in other time zones or with commitments that would mean they couldnt attend lessons, but I was put off by the lack of interactive lessons

Cambridge home school online looked incredible, but quite a lot more expensive, and its a very full timetable

Hi,

My son is doing English IGCSE with Wolsey Hall Oxford Online. So far we are impressed and seems to be working so far. If I could afford it, I would rather Interhigh as he'd be interacting with other students.

Hope this helps. Smile
