What age is/are your LO(s).

HowTheFillyjonkStoleChristmas · 14/11/2006 17:09

ah thats a nice site, fmf, that'll get me started

They are 3 and 1. Am looking for something for the 3 yo obviously. He's not in nursery and I would like a bit of purposeful activity going on, even if only for my benefit.

is it worth the subscriptions, do you reckon, bbm?

parents in touch is only £5 and I've only just come across it so dont really know. It seems ok but tbh the pre-school age stuff is nothing I couldnt do myself on pc but ti does have things for all school ages.

The enchanted learning one is from the USA so it has a lot of things like the geography section is about the use as is most of the history items but I use it for ideas and cross match them for my needs. It cost about £11 when I subscribed.
My kids love looking up things and printing off ideas for mini projects. I also use it for my Brownie pack as "fill in" activities. For me this one is worth the money and I would take out another subscription next year.

see I have just spent ages faffing around trying to do a snap type game on the pc. The enchanted learning site looks good cos there is so much to just print off! £11 does seem quite reasonable really, especially since ds has just got into colouring...

MuddlePuddle has loads of stuff you might find useful. This Page has the resources links.

fullmoonfiend · 15/11/2006 17:34

yes, muddlepuddle is lovely - but in terms of seasonal stuf, seems to be a bit of a work in prgress. Also, I found last time that some of the links are wrong...ie don't lead to where ought to be

yes, my god when are they going to finish saturday science? That baby is two, and my kids are growing up and in need of it
