After finally, deep down admitting it to myself (though I've known for years and accepted it), SmallBoy is just not into coloring, crafts (unless he dictates what and when), etc., so I'm going through my shelves of resources and activity books. I'm purging what he's grown beyond and getting rid of things we've had for years but just haven't used and I don't see him using any time soon (like the unused, unloved coloring books I bought/were given to us before we knew just how much he detests it/thinks it's silly). I'm making room for all of the new books and board games we've acquired in the last few months new books are my downfall though we use the library frequently.
I have lots of random things I've been collecting over the years (some as far back as from when I was in university studying to be a teacher, way back in the early 90s). I came across something that is definitely British (I'm American) but MrScout is away so I can't ask him what exactly it is and is it what I think it is. I have found a "2004 edition Official QCA Tests Official National Test Papers KS1 English and Mathematics Age 6-7 Level 2." Is this what I think it is? A very past copy of the dreaded Year 2 SATS? SmallBoy definitely likes workbooks/sheets so I'll probably keep them if I can work out the format of the things.
