Unless I have missed it there is nothing in KS2 History about women and the right to vote. This seems so wrong.

However, guess what we are doing today.
We have a placard, posters and a whole load of bullet pointed facts. Then we are going to watch various films and clips.
Dd's music practice is music of the time and some music hall songs that include facts about the Suffragettes.
I am going to miss being able to encourage all these extras. Sad

Is anybody else doing anything suffragette related?

SmallBoy is five/Reception age. We've been talking about government/parliament/MPs/voting for a few weeks now. He listens to Radio 4 with us. After explaining why it had to be today we went to vote he proudly walked into my polling station with my polling card and said"My Mommy would like to vote please.". (He also asked me if he could vote at the disabled polling station/table because it was at the perfect height for him)
