Any home educators in Derbyshire?

Hi everyone I'm new to this section and to home educating but after 6 horrible years at school we have decided it isn't working for our son. He went back to school for a couple of days after the summer holidays and hasn't been back.
Now we have been teaching him at home he is already a lot happier and confident with his learning but he has no social life (not that he had a good one at school!).
So we would really like to know of any other home educating families in the area that maybe have meet ups.
Any advice is welcome thanks.

Hi, there are quite a few HE-ers in the Derbyshire area. I know of regular meet-ups in Derby and Chesterfield, but there's likely others. With your permission I can pass your e-mail on for someone to contact you?
