Minecraft Realms

Hi,

We're looking for a few more home ed. kids to join son's Minecraft Realm.

Realms are online Minecraft worlds that players can access at any time.

We're hoping to get everyone who is interested online together at least once a week either to work on projects or just play together and see what emerges.

The Realm is now nearly half full (up to twenty people can be invited) with home ed. kids from around Birmingham, but since it is all online location isn't really important.

Jack is 14, so would be good to have a few more home ed. teens involved, but all ages welcome.

If anyone is interested then let me know your kid's Minecraft name and I'll get Jack to send out an invite.

My dd is on Xbox live and would like to link up with other 'crafters' Grin

My daughter is 14 too - she would probably be interested. She plays on PC most of the time

I'm afraid you need the latest pc version of the game to access Realms. There is more about it here :-

Next meet up on the realm is set for Wednesday 14th at 6pm

A couple of people have asked to change the game mode from creative to survival which (I think) means that players work together to find resources.

There are still spaces left, so if anyone else is interested then get in touch.

Hi, the gamemode can be changed depending on what people want to do. It's currently in creative mode but is being changed to survival mode tomorrow.

If you let me know your son's Minecraft name I'll get Jack to send an invite out to him. We're trying to get everyone online together every Wednesday at 6pm, although people can use the realm anytime. Jack and one or two others are on there most days for a bit in the early evening.

I have messaged you his minecraft name but he can't do Wednesday at 6 as he's at karate then. He's still keen though.
