Calling all HE families in Southampton!

I'm trying to build up a group of HE friends for my daughter Milly so that we can make the final decision to HE without it all being too scary!
She's 5 and a very sociable only child. We live in Bitterne Park but can travel. I've met a couple of nice HE families already, but need to convince my partner that she won't miss out on friends on a daily basis...

It would probably be a great idea to join Education Otherwise, if you haven't done so already.

All members receive a contacts list that some of the home educating families choose to join, and that would be useful for building up local contacts, and getting in touch with HE groups etc.

There are also several chat groups for home educators on Yahoo.
