For those that follow a structured Literacy curriculum, what do you use?

I'm looking for a KS3 level.

Many thanks.

I have used quite a few over the years, some American.

Galore Park - is OK but not terribly exciting. It also doesn't 'teach' extended writing skills - just gives them some titles to choose from. (UK)

Well Trained Mind: Writing with Skill - very challenging and only covers writing. The earlier course is called Writing with Ease - I haven't used it but have heard good reports. (US)

Evan Moor: Daily 6 Trait Writing - only just started using this and wish I'd used it before. DS2 seems really enthused by it. Only covers writing but they do other resources for reading. (US)

We used WTM stuff for grammar which was fab (but I'm a linguist/pedant so it was important to me). It was for grades 1-4 (Years 2-5) but was very good. We've then moved on to Better Sentence Structure through Diagramming because we like diagramming but it doesn't suit everybody.

Just a few ideas.

Thank you! A few to research there.
