Recommendations for online Maths tuition?

Anyone got any suggestions of a good programme/internet tuition?

Not sure if it's relevant but I've just downloaded the abacus app for the ipad. It keeps a record of your child's progress as it teaches skills. But it may only be for young children.

DS is 9 and we signed up for a year's subscription. It was great for the first six months, but now is just BORING, (the repetitive format is too much for even ASD DS at this point). I regret it now, and wish I'd gone with conquer maths instead. Conquer maths is significantly cheaper too!

We haven't suffered the same fatigue with Khan Academy, but I can deffo see the same happening again if I switch to mathletics, which we used last year to supplement school.

You can sign up to single subjects at www.briteschool.co.uk & this I highly recommend as the live online tuition is fantastic.

www.futurelearn.org sometimes has good maths MOOCs for more advanced stuff. It's well worth keeping a beady eye out to see what's on the horizon.

Sorry meant to say I signed up with mathswhizz. . DS wanted something he could tackle daily, or every other day in a busy week, like you would with headsprout for reading. Paint drying is more engaging methinks.

My DS has just got into Tonbridge School and we used Ryder and Isi at www.tutortutor.co.uk. They were both extremely patient in their respective subjects and the online classroom idea seemed to work well in spite of my initial reservations.
