Hi, I used to home ed my 8 year old daughter. She's been in school nearly a year now, and she's enjoying it. A mum at the school is thinking of HE her son and has asked if I could write down some websites and recommend some books for her. I know of Education Otherwise, and How children learn at home by Alan Thomas, but could you recommend some more please.
Thank you. :-)

She could try the Facebook groups - mumsnet home education is a good place to start. Also Teach your Own by John Holt.

There are separate threads here on websites and books on home education. I will go bump them up for you
