Hi, I will be home educating my daughter when she is old enough and wanted to talk to any parents who were already doing this in the Redbridge area. any advice or links, maybe meet up.

There is a home education Waltham Forest Facebook group which covers most of east London, and also a Home Education in London Facebook group - I would ask there.

Considering you posted nearly 3 years ago, I know this is a long shot!? But, my son and I live in Goodmayes, Redbridge, and are just at the beginning of our Home Educating journey, as he turns 4 years old this Summer, due to start Reception in September, but I will be home educating him, until he is 7 years old at least, aka the Scandinavian school timetable.
I've joined the Havering and Waltham Forest Home Ed groups on FACEBOOK, but so far, haven't really found groups / meetings / fellow home edding parents in Redbridge.
Bubs and I live in a TINY 1 bed flat, so getting out to activities and groups pretty much every day, suit us.
The Children's Centres and preschool age groups for 0 - 5 year olds are becoming a little babyish for my son, as he's very bright, and we find these groups are realistically aimed at 0-2 year olds. As, the majority of 3, 4 and 5 year olds are in full time nursery or primary school. So, we could definitely do with joining some home edding specific groups.
I'm wondering how your investigating went? And whether there is a group of Redbridge Home Edding families you've managed to connect with?

Hi All, My daughter is currently in school in yr3. She is having a difficult time since last year of being bullied. I'm trying to get her in to another school but whilst she is waiting , , my husband and we're thinking of home schooling her but I was looking for groups. Are there any in Redbridge?

Hi Sansel, your post was a year ago but I am also contemplating this journey and looking into the options for my 6 year old. I am in Goodmayes too and wondered how you got on?

Hi Anoush, I don't live nearby, but Facebook is usually the place to start when looking for local home ed families. There seem to be two Redbridge home ed groups on FB so I suggest you join them to make contact with people.
