I am considering HE for my ds, he has dyslexia, and suffers from anxiety. It would be a temporary measure until he starts secondary in Sept.
Any advice gratefully received Smile

I am not in Ireland - but if it is only until Sept then I would keep it low key. Encourage him to read as much as possible, do some writing and some maths (try and build it in to other things), and do lots of trips out and about.

Give him a chance to recover and relax and get to know himself.

Thanks for your reply. It's a complicated situation, but it seems it might be the best option for him. School is a very negative place for him now, even the school think so Hmm I feel like I need to detox him!

That's great thanks! I have been reading here for a while but the system is different. I am nervous and excited at the idea of HE, but I hope it will be the best thing for ds.
