Spirograph fun for handwriting

Thought i'd share incase this helps anyone. My son is a terrible writer in general and struggles with pen control. We got an old spirograph from the charity shop yesterday and he is glued to it. But when using it, i've discovered, you need to put pressure on the pen in lots of different directions and it requires alot of control and quite a bit of skill. He is aleady mastering it and i'm really hoping this transfers to handwriting control skills. It may be something to look upon ebay. Hope this helps.

You can print off some great worksheets from senteacher.org

Tiggy.
Thanks what a brill idea, my dd is not good at writing but alongside the control is the inability to focus. I think this may help.
She has my very old one and the holes are so small. Do you know anywhere doing cheap very fine coloured pens. Have found some but £9.99 for 5

No. The set i've got has a biro with a really thin long nib. It's run out. So trying to find a replacement.
