Can anyone recommend a digital photography course for DD? Cant find any locally for her age (13) so online/postal really. Would like a qualification at end of it but dont mind how long course takes.

MoreCats. You don't have too many opportunities from what I can gather.
When your dd is 14, she could attend a local college that offers the diploma photography/media 14-19. At 16 there are apprenticeships offered in this area. It may be worth asking at local college as some courses are offered in the community. I'm not sure the qualifications are brilliant but the certificates are recognised and around the level 2 mark (aprox GCSE). They may have other suggestions or contacts local to you. Also Connextions may be able to help, or local careers advisors. The only other thing would be Open uni, they do units that when added together combine to diplomas and degrees but this is an expensive option. I will keep looking for you and speak to some past colleagues, I'm sorry I can't tell you more. I didn't want you to remain unanswered
