Anyone applied to Flexi school with a Hampshire / Portsmouth school?

When I find out what school we have been allocated for my DS (aged 4) I would like to apply to the Head Teacher to flexi school (3 days in school, 2 days out or something similar). Has anyone tried this with a Hampshire or Portsmouth Education Authority?

Whether Hampshire or not, I would like to know from anyone who has done it how they went about it, the best way to get a 'yes' and any other useful information you can throw at me. I have found a useful website from Leicester Council and a few news articles but not a lot else.

Thanks

There are a couple of schools in Portsmouth that are open to flexi schooling - St Judes and Goldsmith i think. We have a family at our home ed group who flexi school. PM me if you want any more info :)

The LA doesn't decide, it's up to the school.

I've got some info about flexischooling on my website
