just thought i'd share this poem with you. my dd is dyslexic and hates doing any form of reading or writing. she made this up this morning over breakfast. im very proud of her.
some red, some blue, some black
and some silver too,
some pink,
i hope it doesnt go in your sink,
some dark blue,
i hope it doesnt go in your pooh,
and some gold,
as long as your not too old,
and some purple,
as long as your not friends with moaning murtle,
some light green,
looks like my sun screen,
some white too,
the same colour as my ballet shoe,
these are all my coloured glitter,
now all i need is a cool baby sitter.

Well done Sophie!

It's always a pleasure to watch a child enjoy 'playing with words' giving them meaning and depth-doubly so when that child has difficulties as Sohie does. You have every right to feel proud
