Help! DS2 is so demanding that I can't get any time with DS1!

Title pretty much sums it up! DS2 is 2 and fluctuates between clinginess and destructiveness. DS1 happily reads/draws/makes Lego/ plays games by himself but I want to spend some 1 to 1 time with him during the day and I just can't do it. I try to do it while DS2 naps but so far he's woken up twice, interrupting the game i was playing with ds1 and now he won't go back to sleep. They are interested in really different things and DS2 is at that wrecking stage where they just can't play together. Any tips greatly appreciated or even just reassurance! :)

How old is DS1? Does he seem bothered by the situation? Are you trying to HE him, but having trouble entertaining DS2 while you're doing it?

Yes, Ds1 is 5 and HEd. It's all ok - ended up supervising DS2 'playing' connect 4 while playing chess with DS1. All is well again! :)
