Rubber Band Palm Trees

Yes, that's right--darling palm trees, suitable for display in any self-respecting home, made of rubber bands. Start with a pair of No. 2 pencils. Wrap them with rubber bands in varying shades of brown or tan so that they are completely covered, top to bottom. Then get a pair of thick green rubber bands, cut them apart into strips about two inches in length and fasten them to the tip of the pencil with more thin brown rubber bands.

Melt and Use as an Adhesive Its not glue, but a melted rubber band does make a darn good adhesive

hehehe, the joys of google! have no idea if the palm trees of adhesive ones work but might be worth a try!

My DC made an elastic band ball the size of a tennis ball. It took them the summer hols. to make .

They had great fun .Smile

Make a target (archery style) out of cardboard and poster paint, then practise pinging the bands at it.

(This also includes maths skills as you have to add up the scores...)
