Do the workbooks for maths for example have enough practise papers in them or do I need to purchase the worksheets too?
I'm a bit worried this is going to cost me a small fortune, but dc needs oodles of practise or she forgets it all after 5 minutes.

We use the maths textbooks from Galore park, if that's what you mean. There are plenty of questions and exercises in those.

The Galore Park maths books are designed to be a stand-alone book. Many of the worksheets just make the work easier to set out IYSWIM. There are loads of exercises to do and the author has been known to say that she never intended any child to do every sum of every exercise! We often just do alternate numbers in long exercises.

However, we did find in book 1 that 3 exercises in one chapter were impossible to do without the worksheets. So I contacted them and they checked and emailed me those 3 sheets. GP are very good at dealing with customers quickly and effectively. (They took the trouble to check the whole book to see if any other exercises needed a worksheet but they didn't.) They also said that they would make those 3 worksheets available on the website but I don't know if they have!

Tinuviel, if it's the triangle ones, then they have. I downloaded them from the website for DS3.

Yes, it was. Good to see they do what they say! Although I've always found them very helpful. When I swapped DS1 from Cambridge Latin onto GP, I wasn't sure which course to use and which book to go in at and Nick Oulton got straight back to me with advice. And he was spot on! I'm hoping DS1 will be taking GCSE Latin next summer if I can find an exam centre.
