following my previous post about midwifery diplomas and degrees I have decided to self-study for a biology a-level

i would love to hear from people who have done, or are doing, similar!

Well I have self-studied all about autism and about home education over the past 3 years. In between being the parent who deals with both issues day to day.

Since I really like the autonomous ed route I am doing that with myself too, reading lots from the library and enjoying whatever resources come to hand.

I have a hankering to learn Arabic and/or Chinese. Both at once sounds like lunacy though. There are classes within easy reach so I may go for it before my brain decides that new languages are no longer possible.

Thisisyesterday - fantastic for you! I want to do a creative writing course but can't really justify the money. I bought a book of British history which I'm working my way through. I realised that after 11 years of school my knowledge of British history was laughable, just one of the reasons I want to HE DS. I could tell you anything about the history of the American West though, bloody NC!
