Hi there,
I have a DS 8 months and am going to do home ed.This may seem a bit previous but have always planned to do so. I'd really like to find somewhere where I can take him to have some fun with other children with like-minded people(for me!).Not had great experiences with local baby groups. We're not a mainstream minded family you see and that doesnt go down well with some people does it.
So anyone out there?? Smile

Hi, I'm not in Norwich so can't help you there but like you always planned to HE. We started going along to home ed groups when DD was 18 months. If you check out education otherwise here you should be able to find contacts for Norwich who can point you in the direction of local groups.

Post on your local HE group email list/board thing and see if there is anyone else with a toddler/preschooler who'd like to organise a regular meeting.

Not sure I count as we're still thinking home schooling over (DD 9 months) but I'm very leaning towards it and in Norwich. :) Post here if you find anything? I'm not a fan of being looked at like a hippy mum at baby groups. ;)

Hi gonecountry, Know what you mean about not being a fan of being looked at like the hippy mum.(bleugh!)
Have not found a specific baby group yet of our ilk. Maybe have to set my own one upGrin.
I'm going to take ds to norwich stiener playgroup/kindergarten when he is a little older to see what thats like. Thought I'd ring them up in the meantime to see if they've any pointers. Will let you know my findings.
