You are probably all going to laugh at me but...what is the HE scene like in London?

We're shortly probably going to be living easy commuting distance of north/central london and I'd like to know if there is a lot on, or if there is not so much. My older kids are 7 and 5.

Its odd, I don't hear a vast amount about what is going on in London through EO newsletters, etc. I kind of assume there must be...

Also, what is the best yahoo list(s) to join for this?

Hi,

There is alot happening in London. There are a few Yahoo home ed groups you can join to get up to date ino on groups etc and being close to central London you've got the added advantage of easy access to the museums etc.

I know what you mean about not hearing much about what going on in London ( I had the same problem) But once you've connected with one of the online groups your good to go!

Hope this helps

all I'd say is "watch out"! There is so much going on that its all I can do not to get swept away on all the different activities to choose from! I have to force us to stay home to draw breath sometimes.

I'm in the South East London so not much help up North , but can't imagine its much different.

Enjoy

also meant to say that the yahoo groups seem to be the best place to find out whats going on

I'm also SE [waves to camperli]

if you hang around here long enough I'm sure someone local will come along soon and sweep you off to a yahoo group for your area

good luck!
