I live souh of Norwich with my ds and am looking for some home ed groups. Been HEing a few years, have been to a few groups in that time (more towards the Bury area) but am looking for a change (group politics and in fighting have reared thier ugly heads and I am sick of it).

I can't find the Norwich or South Norfolk yahoo groups, although Inwas a member of bohe a couple of years ago) so if anyone can point me in the direction of anything it would ne muh appreciated!

Hi there!

There is a West Norfolk group which is largely based around King's Lynn and surrounding areas - if that helps!

Hi! I have heard good things about the Kings Lynn group (it's on a Monday isn't it?) but it's about an hour and a halfs drive for me (I'm near Diss) and I just can't afford the petrol at the moment.

There must be some groups in Norwich, but I've yet to find them!

I don't HE but I know that Redgrave and Lopham Fen run HE sessions in their education centre, might be worth contacting them?

Hi, the groups we used to go to are the ones who mainly go to those sessions. Ds isn't really into nature things, (well, he is on his own terms, he just doesn't like the HE groups based at those kind of places) we went a few times but he didn't really enjoy them to be honest.

Am still searching the net for he groups in Norwich. We just want to find one of the groups that meet up weekly in a hall or whatever.

We go to one futher south on essex border which is brilliant, and ds does loads of other non HE activities so has lots of friends from those who mainly go to school, but he's just been a bit burned recently by some HE children he knows from groups we used to go to and I am keen to show him that it's just a couple of groups that are a bit strange and not all HE kids are like that.

where south of Norwich ? There is quite a lot going on a Lopham (not the fen but the village hall I think). There is also a yahoo group - look for HomeEducatorsNorfolk - it has just reached it's 4 year mark.

How old is your DS ?
