Hi I am in Fife, not home educating though.
Is it a problem with the school?
Could you maybe move your child to another school first to see if that improves anything?

the problem is that my dd is a dreamer that worries p1 was a problem but we got through it after being put on med for migraines in her tummy p2 was ok off meds fab teacher managed to keep her focused on her work and p3 is just a nightmare her teacher shouts all the time keeps them in at break and lunch if work not finished this happens to dd alot but they have no real supervision so if she gets stuck she has no one to ask and doesn't get it finished, so on Tue she was late coming out of school and i went in to see what was keeping her and asked the teacher how things were going to be told dd had been moved to teachers desk.when we got home we had a bit of a talk again i don't get to cross with her(i was a dreamer to)that night she went to bed with a sore tummy which turned in to a migraine in her head sweating and she wet the bedSadwe had wed off went in thur had a word with the head teacher and explained what was happening she said she would talk to the teacher thought we might be getting somewhere what a laugh dd was kept in all day to fin wed work and sent home with loads of work which we sat and did i said i would talk to teacher again but dd was so upset that she would be kept in the next day.went in early on fri to see the teacher and explain how upset dd was getting was in there for about 20 min and i know we are no further forward. i just feel if we move to an other school she will still be a dreamer sorry that was a bit long it just makes me so angry i know she should get her work done but there is no need to upset children so much and i know this teacher has had alot of complaint over the years

I'm not in Fife, but I do HE in Scotland. Have you had a look at the Schoolhouse. The law in Scotland is very different from in England so check out the legal pages if you haven't already.

There is also a forum that they link to that is full of Scottish folk. You might be able to get in touch with someone that way.
