Teachers books containing curriculum...

Does anyone know any good text books which will help me stick within the curriculum for my 7 yr old? I am planning on using Letts, but would enjoy reading a good teachers textbook along the way to keep me in the know.:)

Thanks.

Hello

i'm a trainee teacher, and I asked my tutor a similar thing at start of course. She said text books date quickly, so you're best off goign to national curriculum website.

I use this one a lot:
curriculum.qcda.gov.uk/key-stages-1-and-2/assessment/nc-in-action/index.aspx?fldSubject=Art+and+design&fldKeyStageYear=R,1,2,3,4,5,6&fldKeyword=&fldProgOfStudyRef=&btnSubmit.x=31&btnSubmit.y=6

which shows examples of work for certain age children.

this is the actual website I use for National Curriculum: curriculum.qcda.gov.uk/

And I use this one a lot: www.nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.gov.uk/primary

Hope that helps a bit - but feel free to CAT me if you need more website ideas! :)
